THROUGH EDUCATION, TRAINING, COLLABORATION, TESTING AND CERTIFICATION, FOSTER DEVELOPMENT, ADOPTION AND COMPLIANCE OF OPENADR AS THE FOUNDATION FOR INTEROPERABLE INFORMATION EXCHANGE TO FACILITATE AUTOMATED DEMAND RESPONSE.DEVELOP A CONFORMANCE, CERTIFICATION, AND TESTING PROCESS/PROGRAM FOR OPENADR, COORDINATED WITH ENTITIES SUCH AS STANDARD DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS (SDOS), UTILITY USER GROUPS, AND OTHER SMART GRID INITIATIVES. COLLABORATE WITH OTHER INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCES AND ORGANIZATIONS ON GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. PROVIDE RESOURCES TO DEVELOPERS TO FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, AND DEMONSTRATION OF OPENADR CERTIFIED PRODUCTS. NOW THE OPENADR ALLIANCE HAS 130 MEMBERS WHO GET SUPPORT FROM THE ALLIANCES TECHNICAL AND MARKETING COMMITTEES.ALLIANCE MEMBERSHIP OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS HAS GROWN 40 PERCENT WITH A LARGE PART OF NEW MEMBERS IN THE EVSE INDUSTRY.
FACILITATE OPENADR PROGRAMS AMONG UTILITIES AND SYSTEM OPERATORS THROUGH CASE STUDIES, SPECIFICATIONS AND INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES. CONDUCT AND PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING SESSIONS TO HELP FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND ADOPTION OF OPENADR PRODUCTS AND PROGRAMS.
COLLABORATE WITH SDOS AND USER GROUPS FOR THE CONTINUED ENHANCEMENTS OF THE OPENADR PROFILE SPECIFICATION. COLLABORATE WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE), FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION (FERC), NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REGULATORY UTILITY COMMISSIONERS (NARUC), AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO EXPAND THE ADOPTION OF OPENADR.THE INTERNATIONAL ELECTROTECHNICAL COMMISSION (IEC) HAS APPROVED THE OPENADR 2.0B PROFILE SPECIFICATION AS A FULL IEC STANDARD, TO BE KNOWN AS IEC 62746-10-1 ED1.IN 2020, A NEW PROJECT, OPENLEADR, WAS LAUNCHED. THIS PROJECT CREATES AN OPEN SOURCE IMPLEMENTATION OF OPENADR.IN 2021, OPENADR2.0 STANDARD WERE ACCEPTED BY BSI.
