GRANTS TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS - THE ASSOCIATION OF C5 YOUTH PROGRAMS SOLICITS FUNDS ON BEHALF OF FOUR INDEPENDENT C5 ORGANZIATIONS AND DISTRIBUTES THEM ACCORDING TO DONOR INTENT.
C5 BRIDGES - CONTRACTED WITH NOLS TO CONDUCT THE TREK PROGRAM. THIS IS A SIGNATURE ACTIVITY FOR EACH OF THE C5 SITES THAT IS OFFERED DURING THE THIRD SUMMER OF THE FIVE-YEAR PROGRAM. NOLS PROVIDES A HIGH ADVENTURE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN WYOMING, IDAHO, NEW YORK, AND WASHINGTON. THE ASSOCIATION OF C5 YOUTH PROGRAMS DELIVERS C5 BRIDGES IN A UNIFORM FASHION FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL C5 SITES.
TRAINING, INCLUDING THE ANNUAL TRAINING SUMMIT - ONCE OR TWICE PER YEAR, THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND SHARING OF BEST PRACTICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL C5 SITES. THIS WEEK-LONG TRAINING WAS DELIVERED IN CALIFORNIA WITH ALL SITES PARTICIPATING. REGULAR MEETINGS BETWEEN LEADERSHIP AND PROGRAM STAFF AT EACH SITE WERE ALSO CONDUCTED WITH A FOCUS ON CONSISTENCY OF PROGRAM DELIVERY.
