IN 2021, DUE TO COVID-19, ASI MADE THE DECISION TO PRODUCE A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE, HELD APRIL 30 - MAY 1, 2021. THE EVENT WAS A SUCCESS WITH NINE SPEAKERS AND GOOD ATTENDANCE. WE HELD A SECOND ONLINE EVENT, ON DECEMBER 4, WITH FOUR STRONG SPEAKERS, WHICH WAS ALSO WELL ATTENDED. ASI, NOT ABLE TO HOLD OUR TYPICAL IN-PERSON CONFERENCE, WAS ABLE TO PIVOT AND USE OUR NEW STRATEGY TO PROVIDE ASI MEMBERS WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND TO KEEP THE ORGANIZATION STRONG, TOO. WE HELD A SOFTWARE SEGMENTS DAY ON MAY 6, 2021, ENABLING SEVEN VENDOR MEMBERS TO SHOWCASE THE PROGRAMS THAT ARE SO CRUCIAL TO PROFESSIONAL INDEXERS.
