TO FOSTER PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT ENABLE STUDENTS IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF GHANA, TO ATTEND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR TECHNICAL/VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE. ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE PASSED THE NATIONAL QUALIFYING EXAM AND ARE ORPHANED OR DEEMED AS A VULNERABLE CHILD,AS DEFINED BY THE UNITED NATIONS, WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EDUCATING EVERY CHILD PROGRAM. PREFERENCES HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO GIRLS.SINCE THE EDUCATING EVERY CHILD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM BEGAN,188 SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE BEEN AWARED TO HIGHLY MOTIVATED, EXTREMELY IMPOVERISHED ADOLESCENT GIRLS, MOST OF WHOM ARE ORPHANED. OUR SCHOLARSHIPS COVER THE COST OF TUITION, EXIT EXAM FEES, AND ACCUMULATED ARREARS, ALL OF WHICH MUST BE PAID BEFORE A STUDENT CAN GRADUATE.WE OFFER SUPPORT TO ALL OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS AT A LEVEL THAT ENABLES THEM TO BECOME BOARDING STUDENTS.THIS IS A SIGNIFICENT BENEFIT SINCE IT ELIMINATES THE TIME NEEDED TO WALK TO SCHOOL AND THE RISK MANY YOUNG GIRLS ENCOUNTER WALKING TO AND FROM SCHOOL. IT ALSO GUARANTEES THREE REGULAR MEALS A DAY AND A BETTER FOCUS ON SCHOOL WORK. ALL OF THE EDUCATING EVERY CHILD SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS HAVE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL.
