SELF-ADVOCACY HAS BEEN GROWING ACROSS THE US AND IN GEORGIA SINCE THE 1970S. THE EXPANDING SELF-ADVOCACY GRANT FROM GCDD PROVIDES FOR FORMAL STRUCTURE AND FORMAL SUPPORTS TO GROW THE ADVOCACY MOVEMENT OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS IN GEORGIA.
