TO PROMOTE CONVENTION, TRADE SHOW, MEETING, OVERNIGHT TOURISM BUSINESS AND TOURISM GENERALLY ON MACKINAC ISLAND, MICHIGAN, TO EXTEND ASSISTANCE AND SERVICES TO MEMBERS TO AID THEM IN THE SUCCESS OF THEIR BUSINESS ACTIVITY AND WELL-BEING, AND TO ESTABLISH AND COLLECT AN ASSESSMENT TO PAY THEREFORE. REVENUE IS BASED ON A 3% ASSESSMENT BY THE AGGREGATE ROOM CHARGES IMPOSED BY THE LODGING FACILITIES DURING A CALENDAR MONTH.
