IN 2022, DWP CONTINUED ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES, AND HIGH SCHOOLS, AWARDING $20,000 IN SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS.IN DECEMBER 2021, DWP RECEIVED A $100,000 UNRESTRICTED CONTRIBUTION. THE BOARD RECOMMENDED UTILIZING THOSE FUNDS TO SUPPORT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN GREATER DAYTON. OUR FOCUS WAS TO IDENTIFY CHARITIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO NEEDY ADULTS, CHILDREN AND VETERANS. WE VISITED AND INTERVIEWED 20 ORGANIZATIONS TO CONFIRM THAT THEIR MISSION ALIGNED WITH THE DWP VISION. A "GRANT REQUEST APPLICATION" WAS DEVELOPED AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS DETERMINED THE FINAL SELECTION OF ORGANIZATIONS TO RECEIVE A DONATION AT ITS MARCH 29, 2022 MEETING. ALL FUNDS WERE DISTRIBUTED UPON DISSOLUTION AS REPORTED ON SCHEDULE N.
