THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS AND COORDINATES THE KIDS ON COURSE PROGRAM IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA AREA ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS. KIDS ON COURSE IS DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS REALIZE THEIR ACADEMIC AND DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL THROUGH ACADEMIC TUTORING AND EXPERIENCES IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES, FITNESS AND NUTRITION AND MORE. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS, BREAKS DOWN BARRIERS THAT PREVENT SUCCESS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM, ENGAGES THE FAMILIES OF STUDENTS AND PROVIDES ACADEMIC SUPPORT SO ALL PARTICIPATING STUDENTS ARE AT GRADE LEVEL IN READING AND MATH.
