COLORADO MUSIC HALL OF FAME CELEBRATES OUR STATE'S MUSIC HERITAGE AND INSPIRES THE FUTURE OF COLORADO MUSIC THROUGH OUR MUSEUM, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, INDUCTION CONCERTS AND EVENTS.

IN 2021, COLORADO MUSIC HALL OF FAME LAUNCHED A REDESIGN OF ITS EXHIBITS AT RED ROCKS AMPHITHEATRE TRADING POST, CREATING NEW BILINGUAL EXHIBITS (SPANISH/ENGLISH) WITH A NEW FLOORPLAN. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THE HALL PIVOTED FROM LIVE TO VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING, LAUNCHING A FREE LIVESTREAM PROGRAM, FRONT ROW & CENTER, AN INDUCTEE INTERVIEW SERIES HOSTED BY PATRICIA CALHOUN, FOUNDER/EDITOR OF WESTWORD AND HALL OF FAME BOARD MEMBER, AS WELL AS HOSTING ITS FIRST-EVER VIRTUAL INDUCTION CEREMONY OF BOULDER'S ETOWN. A NEW MONTHLY FEATURE, FROM OUR COLLECTION, WAS ADDED TO THE HALL'S NEWSLETTER, HIGHLIGHTING A HISTORIC ARTIFACT FROM ITS ARCHIVES. A "10 YEARS OF PHOTOS" INSTAGRAM CAMPAIGN, HIGHLIGHTING INDUCTION CEREMONIES/CONCERTS DURING ITS FIRST DECADE, RAN FOR SIX MONTHS IN 2021. THE HALL ALSO EMPHASIZED ITS WORK ON MUSEUM COLLECTIONS CARE AND MANAGEMENT, PURCHASING MUSEUM COLLECTIONS SOFTWARE AND CATALOGING THE ENTIRE 600+ HISTORICAL ARTIFACT COLLECTION. IN ANTICIPATION OF A LIVE INDUCTION CONCERT, THE HALL ANNOUNCED ITS 2021 INDUCTION CLASS, THE FLATIRONS SESSIONS, CONSISTING OF FOUR BANDS AND A MUSIC VENUE; THE CONCERT WAS UNFORTUNATELY POSTPONED UNTIL 2022 DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
