CERTIFICATE FOR NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT - THIS 12 WEEK GRADUATE LEVEL COURSE SUPPORTS THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF NEXT GENERATION LEADERS AND PROVIDES PATHWAYS FOR EMERGING NONPROFIT LEADERS. THE COURSE IS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP PARTICIPANTS' CONTENT KNOWLEDGE ACROSS NONPROFIT FUNDAMENTALS AND STRENGTHEN THEIR PROFESSIONAL NETWORK TO BETTER ENABLE THEM TO SERVE IN BOTH THEIR CURRENT AND FUTURE POSITIONS.


COMMUNITY BUILDING - "LUNCH AND LEARN" INCLUDES A SERIES OF MEETINGS TO CONNECT LOCAL NONPROFIT PROFESSIONALS TO EACH OTHER AND HELPFUL CONTENT AS EXPERTS PRESENT ON A RANGE OF TIMELY AND RELEVANT TOPICS. IN ADDITION, AFFINITY GROUPS ARE FREE MONTHLY MEETINGS TAILORED FOR PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING TO CREATE A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY AND PROVIDE A WELCOMING SPACE FOR SHARING IDEAS, DISCUSSING CHALLENGES, IDENTIFYING BEST PRACTICES, AND NURTURING CRITICAL COLLABORATIONS. THE VOICES OF THE COMMUNITY INITIATIVE IS TO CREATE SYSTEMATIC CHANGE BY FOCUSING ITS EFFORTS ON IMPACTING THE SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH INCLUDING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, NEIGHBORHOOD AND BUILT ENVIRONMENT, ECONOMIC STABILITY, AND THE SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY CONTEXT.
