CRISIS SERVICES - PROVIDES TELEPHONE CRISIS SERVICES FOR FOURTEEN MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF CONNECTICUT. ADDITIONALLY,A MOBILE CRISIS CLINICIAN AND A RESPITE BED ARE PROVIDED TO FOUR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ORANIZATIONS IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF CONNECTICUT.THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AFTER HOURS IN THE EVENINGS AND ON THE WEEKENDS.
LATINO PROJECT - PROVIDES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE FOR BILINGUAL LATINOS AND THE PERMANENT EXPANSION AND ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURALLY RELEVANT TREATMENTS ALTERNATIVES FOR THE MONOLINGUAL POPULATION OF THE STATE. FUNDING IS PROVIDED TO FIVE ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT CENTRAL CONNECTICUT TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES SERVICES PROGRAM WORKS WITH FAMILIES REFERRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO CONNECT THEM TO TRADITIONAL AND NONTRADITIONAL RESOURCES AND SERVICES USING THE "WRAP AROUND" MODEL.
