MEANINGFUL LIFE USA SUPPORTS AND ENGAGES IN SOCIAL SERVICES AND CHRISTIAN MINISTRY IN AFRICA, AND ENCOURAGES AMERICANS TO VOLUNTEER FOR ITS MINISTRY EFFORTS.

DURING THE YEAR WE MADE MAJOR PROGRESS TOWARDS RAISING FUNDS NEEDED TO PROVIDE MEDICAL SERVICES IN POOR BUSH AREAS OF GHANA. WE ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT TOWARDS DEVELOPING A SELF-SUSTAINING HOSPITAL FOR ONGOING MEDICAL SERVICES TO NEEDY AREAS OF GHANA. THE HOSPITAL BUILDING INITIAL STRUCTURE WAS COMPLETED AND THE HOSPITAL BEGAN ACCEPTING PATIENTS DURING THE YEAR.
EDUCATIONAL AND VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT EFFORTS.THIS YEAR SAW ANOTHER SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN IMPROVED AWARENESS OF MINISTRY EFFORTS AND WITH RESPECT TO ENCOURAGING AMERICANS TO VOLUNTEER IN MINISTRY EFFORTS BOTH IN AMERICA AND AFRICA. EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH IS EXPANDING TO MORE AREAS OF THE USA IN PERSON AND VIA INTERNET-BASED COMMUNICATIONS.
CHRISTMAS OUTREACH.THE SPECIAL CHRISTMAS OUTREACH EFFORT HAS BECOME AN ANNUAL EVENT. WE VISIT A POOR RURAL VILLAGE ON CHRISTMAS DAY TO SHARE CLOTHING, MEDICINE, AND OTHER PHYSICAL NEEDS ALONG WITH BASIC BIBLE STUDIES AND FUN GAMES FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES SO NON-CHRISTIANS CAN LEARN MORE ABOUT THE JOY OF JESUS BIRTH AND HIS OFFER OF SALVATION. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS AN ORPHANAGE WHICH HOUSES AND EDUCATES CHILDREN RESCUED FROM A FORM OF SLAVERY. THE CHILDREN ARE GIVEN A HEALTHY, HOPEFUL NEW START IN LIFE DUE TO THIS CHRISTIAN CHILDRENS MINISTRY. WE ENGAGE IN CONSTRUCTION OF FRESH WATER WELLS (CALLED BOREHOLES IN AFRICA) TO PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER TO POOR RURAL RESIDENTS, PRIMARILY IS MUSLIM-DOMINATED BUSH COUNTRY AREAS.
