DOV INSTITUTE THE DOV INSTITUTE WILL TRAIN THE TRAINERS TO TEACH CONCEPTS AND TECHNIQUES THAT DRAMATICALLY INCREASE INCOME. THE INSTITUTE WILL FEATURE A RIGOROUS, HANDS-ON TRAINING PROGRAM FOR TECHNICIANS WHICH WILL INCLUDE BEST PRACTICES IN HORTICULTURE,CREATIVE STRATEGIES TO MAXIMIZE INCOME, PRINCIPLES OF RUNNING EFFECTIVE FOR PROFIT COOPERATIVES AND TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO TRANSFER KNOWLEDGE TO LARGELY ILLITERATE FARMERS. THE INSTITUTE WILL ALSO OFFER SEMINARS AND CONSULTING SERVICE TO FUNDERS AND PRACTITIONERS OF DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. 2022 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: RECEIVED ACCREDITATION FROM THE NIGER GOVERNMENT DEVELOPED TECHNICIAN TRAINING CURRICULUM AND SUBMITTED IT TO THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL HELD THE OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY FOR THE DOV INSTITUTE, ATTENDED BY SENIOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS INITIATED DEVELOPMENT OF APPLICATIONS TO SUPPORT INSTITUTE OPERATIONS


LITTLE ROCK SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM THE PROGRAM HAS ENABLED THE BRIGHTEST STUDENTS FROM KIBERA TO ATTEND KENYA'S TOP SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND PROVIDE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL. WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS UNTIL THEY COMPLETE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL STUDIES. IN 2022 THAT REPRESENTED 24 STUDENTS IN THE 11TH AND 12TH GRADES. IN ADDITION, 8 STUDENTS GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND 3 COMPLETED THEIR UNIVERSITY STUDIES. OUR FINAL COHORT OF STUDENTS GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL IN 2023 AT WHICH POINT THE PROGRAM WILL BE CLOSED OUT.
