COMMUNITY SUPPORT, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE, CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS - PROVIDED SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS, PROVIDED FUNDS FOR FLOODING REPAIRS; PROVIDED CHILDREN'S CAMP AND BIBLE DISTRIBUTION.
FOOD PROGRAM: PROVIDED MONTHLY GRANTS TO FOUNDATION PATRICK CHARLES TO PURCHASE OVER 11,900 MEALS. RECIPIENTS OF THE FOOD CAME FROM 30 CHURCHES AND AN AIDS PATIENT GROUP WHO CAN'T TAKE MEDS WITHOUT FOOD. HOT MEALS WERE PROVIDED TWICE A WEEK, AND IN THE FALL MEAL BAGS WERE DISTRIBUTED AS THE ECONOMIC INSTABILITY INCREASED.
INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS: BUILT STEPS UP THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN, PERFORMED WATER MANAGEMENT, REPAIRED A CHURCH, AND REPAIRED THE MISSION CENTER USED TO STORE FOOD AND RUN PROGRAMS.
