PIZZA MINISTRY: 8TH STREET PIZZA IS A FAST CASUAL HYBRID RESTAURANT AND SOCIAL CAFE WITH A CONSCIENCE. INSTEAD OF PROCEEDS GOING TO AN OWNER OR FIGUREHEAD, OUR PROCEEDS SUPPORT THE UNDERSERVED NEW ALBANY COMMUNITY.
MIDTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK IS A PRIMARY WAY IN WHICH WE ANSWER FOOD INSECURITY IS BY EQUIPPING COOPERATIVE MEMBERS TO ACHIEVE FOOD SECURITY. WHILE MEMBERS' LIFE SITUATIONS DIFFER, THEY ALL SHARE ONE EXPERIENCE: AT THE END OF THE MONTH, THEY ARE LOW ON MONEY AND BECAUSE OF THE UNPREDICTABILITY OF FOOD BANK DONATIONS AND SHELTER RESOURCES, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHETHER TO SPEND THEIR LIMITED CASH ON FOOD, RENT, OR UTILITIES.
