EDUCATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATION FOR THE PET CARE SERVICE INDUSTRY. WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, SET INDUSTRY STANDARDS, AND PROVIDE PROGRAMS TO INCLUDE: CONFERENCES, WEBINARS, AND THE FACILITATION OF EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS.

2021 EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW: THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN WHICH THE ORGANIZATION MEETS WITH ITS MEMBERS TO PROVIDE ASSOCIATION NEWS AND UPDATES. TWENTY-EIGHT EDUCATIONAL CLASSES WERE OFFERED TO ALL ATTENDEES AT THE GENERAL MANAGER/OWNER OPERATOR LEVEL. ALL CLASSES WERE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND FOCUSED ON THE OWNER/OPERATOR AND EMPLOYEES. NON-MEMBERS WERE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN THE ASSOCIATION AND PARTICIPATE IN THE INDUSTRY BY HELPING SET PET CARE STANDARDS. CONFERENCE HAD ONE KEYNOTE SPEAKER THAT WAS A PUBLISHED PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR FIELD AND RECOGNIZED EXPERT IN THE FIELD OF PET SERVICES.
CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS IN WHICH THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT COME WITH CERTIFICATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL UNITS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE SPECIES SPECIFIC: CANINE, FELINE, AVIAN, SMALL MAMMAL/EXOTICS. PROGRAMS ARE DELIVERED VIA ONLINE LEARNING SOFTWARE, AND CERTIFICATION AT COMPLETION OF EXAMS. FACILITIES SEEKING RISK MANAGEMENT & SAFETY CERTIFICATION MUST MEET APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ONSIGHT FACILITY REVIEW BY A QUALIFIED ANALYST. ONCE CERTIFICATION IS ACHIEVED, THE FACILITY MUST STAND FOR ANNUAL REVIEWS AND RECEIVE AN ONSIGHT REVIEW EVERY THREE YEARS TO MAINTAIN CERTIFICATION. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CEU'S) CAN BE EARNED FOR THE OWNER/OPERATOR/EMPLOYEES THROUGH THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATION WITHIN THE INDUSTRY.
