THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A REVIEW AND STUDY COURSE FOR THE CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST EXAM
THE ORGANIZATION USUALLY SUPPORTS NUMEROUS FUND RAISING EVENTS DURING THE YEAR TO PROMOTE THE CFA DESIGNATION AND TO RAISE MONIES FOR ORGANIZATION USE TO EXPAND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. DUE TO COVID ISSUES DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, THE NUMBER AND TYPES OF EVENTS WERE LESS THAN PRIOR YEARS. TWO PRIMARY EVENTS WERE HELD INCLUDING THE (1) PYTHON WEBINAR AND (2) SOUTHWEST U.S. RESEARCH CHALLENGE. SEVENTEEN EVENTS WERE HELD WITH ATTENDANCE RANGING FROM 23 TO 114 PERSONS PER EVENT. IN TOTAL, 894 PERSONS ATTENDED THE SEVENTEEN EVENTS.
THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHES A NEWSLETTER, MAINTAINS A WEB SITE FOR MEMBERS PROVIDING INFORMATION ON UPCOMING EVENTS, SPEAKERS, JOBS, ETC., AND OPERATED A SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN DURING THE YEAR
