ILINCP HOLDS CHAPTER EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF TEXAS. WE FOCUS ON EDUCATION, LESSONS LEARNED, NEXT STEPS AND THROUGHOUT THESE PROGRAMS TO FURTHER OUR MISSION OF EVOLVING THE CAPITAL PROJECTS INDUSTRY. DURING 2022 WE HELD 24 EVENTS THAT FOCUSED ON THESE GOALS, BENEFITING OVER 1,600 PEOPLE.
INVEST IN WOMEN FORUM, BENEFITED 113 PEOPLE. ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING ARE ALL STRUGGLING WITH A TREMENDOUS SHORTAGE OF SKILLED TALENT. IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO BE ABLE TO ATTRACT, SUPPORT AND RETAIN A TALENTED WORKFORCE AND TO ENCOURAGE MORE WOMEN TO PURSUE AND BUILD VIBRANT CAREERS IN ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION. UNFORTUNATELY, THEIR ATTRITION RATE ALSO REMAINS HIGH IN THESE INDUSTRIES. DEVELOPING AND RETAINING A SKILLED WORKFORCE INCLUDES IDENTIFYING AND ADDRESSING THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF WOMEN IN OUR INDUSTRY. MAN OR WOMAN; MALE OR FEMALE BRAIN, I-LINCPS ANNUAL INVEST IN WOMEN FORUM WILL GIVE YOU AND YOUR TEAM THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO EXCEL AS AN EMPLOYER OF CHOICE AND A ROADMAP FOR INDIVIDUAL CONTINUED CAREER PLANNING AND SUCCESS.
