THE CORPORATION SHALL RAISE FUNDS TO HELP PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES OF BLUEFIELDS BAY AND THE SOUTH COAST AREA OF JAMAICA AND ALSO TO HELP WITH THE EDUCATION, WELFARE AND HEALTH OF ITS RESIDENTS, WITH EMPHASIS ON SUSTAINING AND SUPPORTING THE LOCAL SCHOOLS AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION EFFORTS.

THE BELMONT ACADEMY IN BLUEFIELDS IS OUR LOCAL PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL WHICH ATTRACTS STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER WESTMORELAND PARISH. WE SUPPORT THE PRINCIPAL'S EMERGENCY FUND WHICH STEPS IN WHEN STUDENTS ARE FACING DOMESTIC ABUSE, OR FINANCIAL EMERGENCIES. WE PURCHASE FRESH FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND PROTEIN THAT ARE DELIVERED TO THE ACADEMY'S CAFETERIA SO THAT IT CAN PROVIDE FRESH AND HOT FOOD FOR THOSE STUDENTS THAT ARE UNABLE TO AFFORD TO PURCHASE LUNCH.
SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES: WE PAID FOR MEDICAL BILLS AND PRESCRIPTIONS FOR NEEDY, ELDERLY AND CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.
COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP PROJECT: PURCHASE OF PLASTIC GLOVES, GARBAGE BAGS, LITTER BARRELS FOR PUBLIC CLEANUP PROGRAM.
ASSISTANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS: PAID FOR PLUMBING MAINTENANCE WORK AND UPKEEP OF TOILETS AT THE ALL-AGE PUBLIC SCHOOL, AS WELL AS THE MAINTENANCE OF A LOCAL SPORTS FIELD FOR THE CHILDREN. REHABILITATION OF THE BLUEFIELDS BAY GROYNES: TO REDUCE THE LOSS OF BEACHFRONT ACREAGE TO COASTAL EROSION AND PROTECT VALUABLE COASTAL RESOURCES ALONG THE BLUEFIELDS BAY WATERFRONT AND MARINE ECOSYSTEMS IN THE AREA.
