CCDC SHAKER SQUARE CLEVELAND - PREPARATIONS FOR UNIQUELY CLEVELAND NUTCRACKER BEGINS WITH THE ENGAGEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL DANCERS, CHOREOGRAPHERS AND DESIGNER. PERFORMANCE SPACE AND TECHNICAL STAFF IS DETERMINED AND SECURED. ALL WORK UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF MS. LAVES-MEARINI OVER THE COURSE OF THE NEXT 6 MONTHS TO DEVELOP AND COMPLETE ALL ASSIGNMENTS. THROUGH MASTER CLASSES, TECHNIQUE AND SKILL BUILDING AS WELL AS INITIAL INTRODUCTION OF CHOREOGRAPHY CCDC WILL BEGIN PREPARATION OF IT COMPANY MEMBERS FOR PRIMARY ROLES IN UNIQUELY CLEVELAND NUTCRACKER. CCDC - OPEN AUDITIONS FOR CHILDREN'S ROLES WILL BE HELD FOR THE COMMUNITY. OCTOBER/NOVEMBER - CDDC - REHEARSALS FOR COMPANY MEMBERS, PROFESSIONAL DANCERS AND CHILDREN BEGIN. NOVEMBER - LOCATIONS TBD - 4 COMMUNITY OUTREACH PERFORMANCES WILL OCCUR IN AREA SCHOOLS. DECEMBER - TRI-C, EAST CAMPUS, CLEVELAND - DRESS REHEARSAL AND TWO PERFORMANCES WILL BE HELD ON THE 1ST WEEKEND OF THE MONTH.
