TO DATE, OVER 6,000 EK MEMBERS HAVE JOINED THE EKIALO KIONA CLUB THROUGH THE CYBER-VCT PROGRAM. MEMBERS JOIN THE EK CLUB FREE OF CHARGE THROUGH A CONFIDENTIAL HIV COUNSELING AND TESTING SESSION WITH A FULL-TIME VCT COUNSELOR. MEMBERS RECEIVE AN EK CLUB CARD THAT MUST BE RENEWED EVERY 6 MONTHS THROUGH FOLLOW-UP VCT SESSIONS. BECOMING A MEMBER ALLOWS THEM UNLIMITED ACCESS TO COMPUTERS, WIFI AND TECHNOLOGY CLASSES. EKIALO KIOINA ALSO OFFERS EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES THROUGH A HEALTH NAVIGATOR PROGRAM. WITH AN EMERGENCY BOAT AND A CADRE OF COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS, CALLED HEALTH NAVIGATORS, THE TEAM OFFERS EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR URGENT MEDICAL AND OBSTETRIC NEEDS.
