ANIMAL AND SCIENCE - THE ORGANIZATION CARES FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF ANIMALS AT THE DALLAS ZOO AND THE CHILDREN'S AQUARIUM AT FAIR PARK, INCLUDING PROVIDING NUTRITION SERVICES AND ADVANCED HOSPITAL CARE AS NEEDED. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS CONSERVATION OF WILDLIFE. THE DALLAS ZOO ATTRACTED 936,924 VISITORS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020/2021. THE AQUARIUM WAS CLOSED ON 3/13/2020 AND DID NOT REOPEN TO THE PUBLIC DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. THE AQUARIUM WAS TURNED OVER TO A NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY AS OF JULY 15, 2021. DALLAS ZOO MANAGEMENT, INC. WILL NO LONGER MANAGE OR MAINTAIN THE AQUARIUM AS OF JULY 15, 2021.
