THE FCPL FRIENDS & ADVOCATES EXISTS TO SUPPORT THE FORSYTH COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY. THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF CONDUCTING, MANAGING AND SUPPORTING SALES OF THE LIBRARY'S EXCESS BOOKS AND USED BOOKS DONATED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. FUNDS ARE THEN GIVEN TO, OR SPENT ON BEHALF OF, THE LIBRARY FOR SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED PURCHASES, SPONSORSHIP OF VARIOUS SPECIAL EVENTS AND EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION SERVICES. DURING 2022 FCPL FRIENDS & ADVOCATES MADE DISTRIBUTIONS OF $47,650 TO THE FORSYTH COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY.
