CAMPHILL GHENT'S MISSION IS TO CREATE AN INCLUSIVE AND CARING RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY OFFERING INDEPENDENT AND ASSISTED LIVING FOR ELDERS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, AND WHICH IS ALSO INTEGRATED WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. CAMPHILL GHENT'S GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A QUALITY OF LIFE AND CARE THAT ADDRESSES THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING AND NEEDS OF ELDERS. THIS INCLUDES CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THE JOURNEY TOWARDS DYING CAN BE EXPERIENCED AS BOTH A NATURAL AND A SACRED TRANSFORMATION.
