THE EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCIL OF THE SAN LUIS VALLEY IS THE HUB FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EFFORTS IN THE COMMUNITY, AS THE TRUSTED, CENTRALIZED RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES, PROFESSIONALS, PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS THE QUALITY AND AVAILABILITY OF EARLY CHILDHOOD SERVICES IN THE SAN LUIS VALLEY BY: PROVIDING FUNDS TO CHILD CARE PROVIDERS FOR EARLY HEAD START SERVICES, FUNDING FOR CLASSROOM MATERIALS, TRAINING, COACHING AND COLLEGE LEVEL SCHOLARSHIPS; THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS PARENT EDUCATION AND CONNECTS FAMILIES TO NEEDED RESOURCES; THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS THE OPTIMAL PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG CHILDREN.
