GRACE NEIGHBORHOOD NURSERY SCHOOL IS A PLAY-BASED PRESCHOOL PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN SERVING THE MINNEAPOLIS COMMUNITY FOR 59 YEARS. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A HIGH-QUALITY, NURTURING, EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN OF DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS. THROUGH OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WE ASPIRE TO SERVE MANY CHILDREN WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF EXPERIENCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD. OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE ENOUGH FUNDS EACH YEAR THAT 20% OR MORE OF GRACE STUDENTS CAN RECEIVE TUITION ASSISTANCE.

GRACE NEIGHBORHOOD NURSERY SCHOOL SERVED A TOTAL OF 68 CHILDREN IN OUR HALF DAY CLASSES IN THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR. OUR LICENSED CAPACITY IS 66 CHILDREN IN THE BUILDING AT ONE TIME. THE SCHOOL YEAR WAS COMPRISED OF 172 DAYS FROM SEPTEMBER - JUNE. WE FOLLOWED COVID 19 PROTOCOLS AND DID NOT HAVE TO CLOSE SCHOOL FOR COVID QUARANTINING. TOTAL EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR WERE $549,577. FOUR CHILDREN WERE AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR A TOTAL OF $16,874.
