BFF PROVIDES GRANTS TO FILMMAKERS WHO LIVE OR WORK IN THE EAST SHORE CITIES OF THE BAY AREA FOR A FILM PROJECT ABOUT AN IMPORTANT SOCIAL ISSUE. WE ALSO HOST FILM SCREENINGS SEVERAL TIMES PER YEAR, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, AND PROVIDE MENTORSHIP SERVICES.

FOR THE THIRTEENTH YEAR, THE BERKELEY FILM FOUNDATION HELD ITS ANNUAL OPEN CALL FOR FILMMAKERS AND WERE PROUD DISTRIBUTE $207,550 IN GRANTS TO 20 FILMS. SUPPORT FROM MR RICHARD K ROBBINS, THE CITY OF BERKELEY, THE SAUL ZAENTZ COMPANY, NANCY P. AND RICHARD K ROBBINS FAMILY FOUDATION MADE THESE GRANTS POSSIBLE.
