INCLUDED ARE CLASSES FOR FIBER ARTS, DRAWING, PAINTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, JEWELRY AND METALS, GLASS, WOOD, LITERARY MUSIC, DANCE AND APPALACHIAN HERITAGE PROGRAMS


JUNIOR APPALACHIAN MUSICIANS (JAM) IS A PROGRAM FOR GRADE SCHOOL YOUTH TO LEARN TRADITIONAL BLUEGRASS AND OLD-TIME MUSIC INSTRUMENT PLAYING ON GUITAR, BANJO, FIDDLE AND/OR MANDOLIN.


TO OPERATE A POTTERY STUDIO TO OFFER CLASSES IN THE PRODUCTION OF TRADITIONAL POTTERY TECHNIQUES IN PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
