THE OREGON CITY LIBRARY FOUNDATION IS AN OREGON NONPROFIT CORPORATION DEDICATED TO RAISING FUNDS FOR THE OREGON CITY LIBRARY. THE FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN ENLISTING VOLUNTEERS. THE FOUNDATION PLANS TO UTILIZE VOLUNTEERS IN HELPING IT SET UP AN INFORMATIONAL WEBSITE THAT WILL BOTH RAISE AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS OF THE LIBRARY IN ADDITION TO HELPING THE FOUNDATION RAISE FUNDS TO MEET THOSE NEEDS. THE FOUNDATION WILL SOLICIT FUNDS THROUGH THE FOLLOWING METHODS: MAIL, E-MAIL, PERSONAL SOLICITATIONS, AND PHONE SOLICITATIONS. THE FOUNDATION WILL ALSO ENGAGE IN WRITING GRANTS THAT WILL SOLICIT SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS AND PRIVATE ENTITIES.
