THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS IN A SMALL RURAL COMMUNITY IN PARK COUNTY MONTANA. ANY INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION CAN APPLY TO THE FOUNDATION FOR ASSISTANCE, OR SOMEONE CAN APPLY TO THE FOUNDATION ON ANOTHER'S BEHALF. THESE FUNDS ARE GENERALLY EMERGENCY FUNDS, PRIMARILY FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES, AND OTHER COMMUNITY NEEDS. SOME SMALL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE GIVEN. A "DANCE HALL" WAS DONATED TO THE FOUNDATION IN 2014, WHICH IS RENTED AT MINIMAL OR NO FEE FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS. DONORS ARE PRIMARILY LOCAL INDIVIDUALS, AS WELLA AS AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISER AND AUCTIONS ARE HELD FOR FUNDRAISING. SOME SOLICITATION IS DONE BY MAIL. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THERE WERE NO HALL RENTALS OR FUNDRAISERS IN 2021.
