JESSE TREE PROVIDES A HAND UP TO PEOPLE EXPERIENCING A FINANCIAL CRISIS, EMPOWERING THEM TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TENANT RESOURCE CENTER, EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE, AND EVICTION COURT ASSISTANCE: ALL TENANTS WHO CONTACT JESSE TREE ARE SERVED BY THE TENANT RESOURCE CENTER (TRC), WHICH PROVIDES SUPPORT, INFORMATION, AND RESOURCES REGARDING THE EVICTION PROCESS AND MORE. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TRIAGE APPLICATIONS AND PROVIDE TENANTS WITH TOOLS THEY CAN USE TO AVOID EVICTION. THE MOST URGENT CASES ARE REFERRED TO THE EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE (ERA) PROGRAM. THE ERA PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME RENTERS AT RISK OF EVICTION AND HOMELESSNESS. JESSE TREE'S ERA PROGRAM COUPLES ONE-TIME EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE WITH CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, WHICH EMPOWER TENANTS TO FIND LONGER-TERM STABILITY. TENANTS ARE CONNECTED TO RENTAL ASSISTANCE, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND LEGAL SERVICES DIRECTLY IN COURT.
