THE ORANGE COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPLORER ADVISORS ASSOCIATION (OCLEEAA) IS AN ASSOCIATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT ADVISORS IN ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. SURROUNDING AGENCIES SUCH AS LONG BEACH, SAN BERNARDINO, CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AND POMONA ALSO ARE PART OF THE ASSOCIATION. THE ASSOCIATION IS OPEN TO ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPLORING POSTS, REGARDLESS OF LOCATION. OCLEEAA HOSTS EXPLORER ACADEMIES. THE FIVE DAY, FOUR NIGHT LIVE-IN INTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REGIMEN SIMULATES THE STRESS OF A POLICE ACADEMY. EXPLORERS ARE GIVEN MORE THAN 20 BLOCKS OF INSTRUCTION WHERE THEY LEARN CRITICAL SKILLS SUCH AS TRAFFIC CONTROL AND STRESS MANAGEMENT. THE ATTENDANCE RANGES FROM 130 TO 175 EXPLORERS AND HAS A STAFF OF MORE THAN 25 PERSONNEL.
