KENTUCKY OPPORTUNITY COALITION CONDUCTS RESEARCH TO DETERMINE HOW VARIOUS DEMOGRAPHIC GROUPS RESPOND TO CURRENT NATIONAL POLICY ISSUES, WHAT PRIORITIES AND CONCERNS THEY HAVE, AND WHICH PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THEY MIGHT BE MOST INCLINED TO TAKE ACTION ON THROUGH GRASSROOTS PARTICIPATION. KENTUCKY OPPORTUNITY COALITION ALSO SPONSORS IN-DEPTH POLICY RESEARCH ON SIGNIFICANT ISSUES, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT ARE CURRENTLY UNDER-REPORTED BUT ARE LIKELY TO HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL IMPACT ON GOVERNMENT POLICYMAKING IN THE FUTURE.
