MOBILE CONSUMERS FOR CHOICE AND COMPETITION (MCCC) ENGAGED IN EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY AMONG CONSUMERS. SUCH ACTIVITIES INCLUDED MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT, PROVIDING INFORMATION ON WEBSITES AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES THAT SHOWED TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS AND JOB IMPACT IN STATES.
MCCC SUPPORTED PUBLIC POLICIES THAT WOULD FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY FOR CONSUMERS. MCCC WAS ACTIVE IN SUPPORT OF PIECES OF LEGISLATION IN ILLINOIS, KENTUCKY, OHIO, AND WISCONSIN THAT WOULD ACHIEVE THAT GOAL.
