S O H I P IS A FAITH BASED ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO TRAIN INDIVIDUALS ON HOW TO OPERATE EQUIPMENT FOR BASIC LIFE PRACTICES. INSTRUCTION IS DESIGNED TO TRAIN INDIVDUALS ON HOW TO OPERATE: HAND PUMPS, WATER DRILL RIGS, SAND FILTERS, AND TO TEACH BASIC LIFE PRACTICES.

Part 3
SUPPORT OF ZAMBIA WELL DRILLING AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS. INCLUDING VOLUNTEER AND OTHER SUPPORT THAT GIVES ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER AND EMPOWERS ZAMBIANS TO BE SUCCESSFUL BY DEVELOPING EDUCATION AND SKILLS.
BIOSAND FILTERS: THESE FILTERS USE GRAVEL AND SAND TO REMOVE UP TO 99 PERCENT OF PATHOGENS FROM WATER, MAKING IT SAFE TO DRINK. THIS PROGRAM BENEFITS OVER 10,000 PERSONS.
WELL DRILLING: EACH WELL BRINGS CLEAN WATER TO UP TO 500 PEOPLE. WE TRAIN COMMUNITY PUMP CARETAKERS TO MAINTAIN AND REPAIR THEIR WELL HAND PUMP.
