EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS: THE EGYPT CANCER NETWORK(ECN) 57357 AND AFNCI ARE SPONSORING THE DANA FARBER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL CANCER CENTER AND THE CHILDREN'S CANCER HOSPITAL EGYPT (CCHE) 57357 PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM WHICH WAS FORMALLY SIGNED IN 2012. THE COST INCLUDES PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, SIGNING CEREMONY, AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS. THEY HAVE ALSO SUPPORTED CCHE 57357 PHYSICIANS AND RESEARCHERS TO ATTEND LEADING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES OR WORKSHOPS IN ORDER TO GIVE PRESENTATIONS OF THEIR RESEARCH AND WORK AT 57357 OR LEARN SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES. THIS HAS INCLUDED TRIP, REGISTRATION, HOTEL, AND PER DIEM EXPENSES.

FUNDS WENT TO HELP SET UP THE ORGANIZATION AS WELL AS APPLY FOR TAX EXEMPT STATUS. ECN CANADA IS NOW SELF SUFFICIENT. ADVERTISING- ECN LAUNCHED AN ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN TO HELP SOLICIT DONATIONS DURING THE GIVING MONTH OF RAMADAN TO HELP ENCOURAGE DONORS TO GIVE THEIR DONATIONS DURING THIS HOLY MONTH TO THE CHILDREN OF HOSPITAL 57357. THESE MARKETING DOLLARS WENT TO HELP WITH THE FUNDING OF THE HOSPITAL EXPANSION AS WELL AS PATIENT CARE.
