THE MISSION OF THE JEFFERSON EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY OF ERIE IS TO PROMOTE CIVIC ENLIGHTENMENT AND COMMUNITY PROGRESS FOR THE ERIE REGION THROUGH STUDY, RESEARCH AND DISCUSSION. THE SOCIETY CONDUCTS PROGRAMS TO FURTHER THESE GOALS.

THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ISSUES PUBLICATIONS ON VARIOUS TOPICS AND HOSTS A GLOBAL SUMMIT WHICH FEATURES NATIONAL SPEAKERS WHO PRESENT LECTURES ON TOPICS OF NATIONAL AND GLOBAL SIGNIFICANCE.


JEFFERSON ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY PROGRESS (JACP) SEEKS TO BRING TOGETHER THE LEADERS OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF ERIE COUNTY TO DISCUSS ISSUES OF COMMON INTEREST. THE JACP ALSO CONDUCTS A LEADSHIP PROGRAM DESIGNED TO BRING TOGETHER INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN COMMUNITY ISSUES AND ASSUMING LEADSHIP ROLES IN THE FUTURE.
