GGI'S LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICES IS THE UGANDA PROJECT WHERE WE OPERATE A CHRISTIAN BASED SCHOOL, PROVIDE COMMUNITY OUTREACH SERVICES, AND SUPPORT OVER 10 CHRISTIAN CHURCHES UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF PASTOR ROBERT SITYO. 2022 SAW OUR OPERATIONS RESUME NORMAL OPERATIONS POST COVID. OUR UGANDA MINISTRY INCLUDES THE FOUNTAIN OF HOPE JR. AND SR. SCHOOL WITH 1300 STUDENTS, CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM, CHURCH PLANTING WITH OVER 12 CHURCHES IN THE MINISTRY, PASTOR AND LAY PERSON TRAINING, MEDICAL MINISTRY, MAMA CONNECT MINISTRY FOR PREGNANT WOMEN, OLD & WISE MINISTRY HELPING THE ELDERLY, NUTRITION PROGRAM, WALK WITH ME MINISTRY FOR PREGNANT TEENAGERS.
GGI'S SECOND LARGEST PROGRAM SERVICE IS THE HAITI PROJECT. 2022 SAW THE MINISTRY EMERGE FROM THE COVID PANDEMIC AND REOPEN OUR CHRISTIAN BASED SCHOOL IN JACMEL HAITI ONLY TO THEN HAVE THE COUNTRY ENTER INTO INTERNAL TURMOIL. PERIODS OF TIME THE ENTIRE COUNTRY SHUT DOWN DUE TO LACK OF POLITICAL STABILIZATION AND GANG ACTIVITY. THROUGH THIS TIME, THE CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS CONTINUED AND ADDITIONAL FUNDING WAS RAISED TO SEND TO HAITI TO ASSIST WITH PROVIDING FOOD AND WATER TO FAMILIES IN NEED. GGI CONTINUES TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION NEEDS OF OUR SCHOOL CLASSROOMS AND EXPECT CONSTRUCTION TO TAKE THE NEXT TWO YEARS.
GGI'S THIRD LARGEST AND LAST PROGRAM SERVICE IS THE CONGO PROJECT. THIS PROJECT IS A SMALL FOCUSED OUTREACH PROGRAM SUPPORTING A WIDOW AND ORPHAN PROJECT IN GOMA, CONGO. 2022 WAS SAW THE MINISTRY EMERGE FROM THE COVID PANDEMIC AND CONTINUE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO OUR LOCAL TEAM IN CONGO TO PROVIDE FOOD, EDUCATION TUITION, AND SUPPORT TO THOSE WE HELP. LOCAL POLITICAL INSTABILITY AND INSURGENCIES CONTINUE TO PLAGUE THE AREA SURROUNDING GOMA AND PROVIDE OBSTACLES TO OUR MINISTRY BUT ALSO OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THOSE IN NEED.
