IN PARTNERSHIP WITH 2ND HARVEST AND LOCAL SCHOOLS, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FOUR WEEKEND MEALS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR FOR FOOD-INSECURE CHILDREN.THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A CENTRALLY LOCATED STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITY THAT PROVIDES NOURISHING FOOD TO MORE THAN 800 PEOPLE EVERY MONTH.THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES GOOD QUALITY CLOTHING TWICE A MONTH TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH CLOTHING NEEDS.THE ORGANIZATION SENDS TEAMS INTO THE COMMUNITY TO ASSIST IN EVENTS SUCH AS NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP AND SCHOOL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTIONS.

WE DO THIS BY RAISING UP VOLUNTEERS WHO SHARE THEIR TIME, TALENTS AND RESOURCES WITH PEOPLE IN NEED.PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTSSERVE SPOKANE MAINTAINS A CENTRALLY LOCATED STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION FACILITY THAT PROVIDES NOURISHING FOOD AND GOOD QUALITY CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO 2000 PEOPLE EVERY MONTH.IN PARTNERSHIP WITH 2ND HARVEST AND LOCAL SCHOOLS WE PROVIDE WEEKEND MEALS FOR 85 CHILDREN EVERY WEEK THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR.AND WE MAKE SURE THAT THE WONDERFUL TEACHERS AND STAFF GET FRESH BAKED COOKIES A FEW TIMES A MONTH!EACH SUMMER WE DELIVER WEEKLY FOOD BOXES TO 50 HUNGRY CHILDREN WHO NORMALLY DEPEND ON SCHOOL MEALS FOR THEIR BASIC NUTRITION.22 SENIOR CITIZENS RECEIVE SENIOR BOXES OF FOOD EVERY MONTH.,LITERALLY, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE RECEIVE TEFAP GOVERNMENT FOOD EACH MONTH.ALSO AVAILABLE IS GOOD, CLEAN CLOTHING AND ALL KINDS OF HOUSEHOLD ITEMS.WEVE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF PROVIDING WEDDING DRESSES, PROM DRESSES, SOCCER SHOES AND SO MUCH MORE.IN 2022:OUR CLIENTS COME FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE: HOMELESS, ELDERLY, OUT OF WORK OR JUST GOING THROUGH A HARD TIME AND NEEDING SOME HELP.AS THEY RECEIVE GROCERIES, WARM COATS, ETC. IT FREES UP SOME FUNDS TO PAY A TILITY BILL, BUY A BUS PASS OR GAS TO GET TO WORK.ALL OF THIS IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE CARING PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY SPORTS TEAMS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS HAVE ALL CONTRIBUTED TO SERVE OUR NEIGHBORS.
