THE PRIMARY BENEFICIARY OF THE AUCTION OF WASHINGTON WINES IS UNCOMPENSATED CARE AT SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, WHICH GUARANTEES MEDICAL CARE FOR ALL CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF THEIR FAMILIES ABILITY TO PAY.
THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS WINE AND WINE GRAPE EDUCATION BY PROVIDING FUNDING TO WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY. THIS INCLUDES FUNDING OF THE WSU VITICULTURE AND ENOLOGY PROGRAM TO SUPPORT THE GROWTH OF THE INDUSTRY BY PROVIDING CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH AND BY TRAINING THE NEXT GENERATION OF VINTNERS AND GRAPE GROWERS.
THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM INTENDED TO BENEFIT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS OPERATING IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF THE WINE-PRODUCING REGION OF WASHINGTON STATE.
