FIRST TIME HOME BUYER DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: THE CULINARY AND BARTENDERS HOUSING PARTNERSHIP PROVIDES ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS WITH A LOAN OF UP TO 20,000 TO USE FOR A DOWN PAYMENT FOR A HOME. THE DOWN PAYMENT LOAN IS A ZERO PERCENT INTEREST LOAN, WHICH MUST BE REPAID UPON SALE, TRANSFER OR REFINANCE OF THE PROPERTY. THE PARTICIPANT MUST RESIDE IN THE HOME AS A PRIMARY RESIDENCE. A TOTAL OF 321,599 IN LOANS WERE CLOSED IN THE YEAR ENDING 12/31/21.
HOMEBUYER EDUCATION AND COUNSELING PROGRAM: THE CULINARY AND BARTENDERS HOUSING PARTNERSHIP OFFERS HOMEBUYER EDUCATION AND COUSELING. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO CREATE INFORMED, EDUCATED AND RESPONSIBLE HOMEBUYERS.
