THE MISSION OF TEEN CHALLENGE OF BALTIMORE IS TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH AN EFFECTIVE AND COMPREHENSIVE FAITH-BASED SOLUTION TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND LIFE-CONTROLLING ISSUES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY, AND TO PROVIDE DRUG-ABUSE PREVENTION AWARENESS AND EDUCATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

OPERATIONS OF A 14-MONTH, 24/7, FAITH-BASED, RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND LIFE CONTROLLING ISSUES. A DESIRE TO CHANGE IS THE PRE-REQUISITE FOR ENTRY. ONCE THIS IS REALIZED, NO ONE IS VIEWED AS BEYOND HOPE. SERVICES INCLUDE TELEPHONE INTERVENTIONS, INTERVIEWS, WEBSITE INFORMATION, THE RECOVERY PROGRAM, RESIDENTIAL CARE, DISCIPLESHIP AND CHARACTER-BUILDING CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION, PERSONAL COUNSELING AND MENTORING, GROUP SESSIONS, WORK PROJECTS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH ASSISTANCE, CORRECTIONS FACILITY MEETINGS, REFERRAL SERVICES, PREVENTION PROGRAMS, AND PRESENTATIONS TO CHURCHES, SCHOOLS AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS.
