TEXAS CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION (TCSA) HAS FOUR CORE FUNCTIONS:1. ADVOCACY - TCSA PROMOTES A UNIFIED POLICY AGENDA THAT PROMOTES CHARTER SCHOOL GROWTH AND PROTECTS THE SPECIAL MISSION OF MEMBER SCHOOLS. 2. MEMBER SERVICES - TCSA PROVIDES SERVICES AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO HELP MEMBER SCHOOLS MEET THEIR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS. 3. PUBLIC AWARENESS - TCSA INFORMS THE PUBLIC ABOUT CHARTER SCHOOLS AND THEIR EFFECTIVENESS. 4. ANNUAL CONFERENCE - TCSA CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE TO PROMOTE THE CHARTER SCHOOL INITIATIVE.
