THE MISSION OF THE EVSC FOUNDATION IS TO ENHANCE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS WHICH GENERATE THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES NECESSARY TO SUPPORT EXTRAORDINARY LEARNING EXPERIENCES, ENSURING GREATER STUDENT SUCCESS.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS - FUNDS ALLOCATED TO CAMPAIGNS WERE TO PAY FOR THE NEW MULTIPURPOSE COMPLEX AND RENOVATED ATHLETIC TRAINING FACILITY AT HARRISON HIGH SCHOOL; A NEW LED STATE-OF-THE-ART SIGN FOR BOSSE HIGH SCHOOL; TOWARDS A CAMPAIGN TO HONOR JERRY HOOVER (RETIRED MUSIC EDUCATOR AT NORTH HIGH SCHOOL) WHERE THE PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT THE PERFORMING ARTS ACTIVITIES AT NORTH HIGH SCHOOL; THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL'S SOFTBALL FIELD IN HONOR OF DENNIE LYNN; AND A CAMPAIGN TO HONOR PAUL GRIES TO PURCHASE A MOWER FOR THE BASEBALL FIELD AT CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL.
SCHOOL PROGRAMS - INCLUDES THE HAMMAN FUNDS FOR NEEDY STUDENTS, STUDENT RESPONSE FUND, SCOREBOARD SPONSORSHIP AND AFFINITY CARD PROGRAM BOTH TO SUPPORT ATHLETICS AND ACADEMICS, ATHLETIC TRAINING COVERAGE & ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT,SCHOLARSHIPS, AND OTHER VARIOUS SCHOOL PROGRAMS. PROGRAMS WERE ALSO IN PLACE FOR SUPPORTING A STUDENT CLOTHING BANK FOR NEEDY STUDENTS, AND SUPPORTING STUDENTS THROUGH SPECIFIC PROGRAMS THAT FOCUS ON WORKABLE OPPORTUNITIES TO INTEGRATE WORKPLACE SKILLS AND ACADEMICS FOR SUCCESS WITH GRADUATION AND BEYOND. A TEACHER LOCKER PROGRAM WAS UTILITZED TO PROVIDE FREE SUPPLIES TO EVSC TEACHERS. DISBURSEMENT OF A GRANT FOR "MANUFACTURING FUTURES" PROJECT WAS SUPPORTED ALONG WITH RENOVATING A HIGH SCHOOL'S TENNIS COURTS.
EVSC SUPPORT PROGRAM - THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT FORMS OF GENERAL SUPPORT TO EVSC. ALLOCATIONS WERE USED TO FUND THE PRODUCTION OF INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS INCLUDING THE EVSC PARENT CALENDAR AND OTHER INNOVATIVE SCHOOL PAMPHLETS. ADDITIONAL SUPPORT INCLUDED ITEMS SUCH AS; SUPPORTING EVSC FOOD & NUTRITION PROGRAM, SUPPORTING EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAMS, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING CLASSROOM SUPPLIES, BACKPACKS/SUPPLIES FOR NEEDY STUDENTS, BOOKS PURCHASED FOR READ EVANSVILLE PROGRAM TO GET BOOKS TO STUDENTS, TEACHER APPRECIATION GIFTCARDS AND TRANSPORTATION NEEDS FOR GED STUDENTS. BOOKS WERE ALSO PURCHASED TO SUPPORT SCHOOLS AND FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE SEL PROGRAM. FUNDS WERE ALSO GIVEN TOWARDS NEW TEACHER ORIENTATION SUPPLIES AND A MATH BOOTCAMP FOR PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM.
