IT ALSO INCLUDED DINNER.


RADIOMALA: RADIO MALA IS A CAN-USA FUNDED PROJECT BEING USED TO PASS EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS AND SAVE LIVES. THERE IS ONLY ONE VHF/UHF AMATEUR RADIO REPEATER IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, THIS REPEATER WAS DONATED BY CAN-USA (GNPN) AND HAS BEEN IN CONSTANT USE SINCE THE EARTHQUAKE. CAN-USA ALSO DONATED AN ELECRAFT K3 HF STATION THAT IS BEING USED TO ESTABLISH LONG-DISTANCE COMMUNICATIONS AND PROVIDE INTERNATIONAL AID ORGANIZATIONS OUTSIDE NEPAL WITH SITUATIONAL AWARENESS.
