THE NEURO HOSPITALITY HOUSE (NHH) ADDRESSES THE PRESSING AFFORDABLE LODGING NEEDS OF NEUROLOGICAL PATIENTS RECEIVING DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION, TREATMENT, AND REHABILITATION OR WHO ARE PARTICIPATING IN RESEARCH STUDIES. NHH HOSTS GUESTS IN COLLABORATION WITH CENTERSTONE PLAZA HOTEL WHICH INCLUDES ALL HOTEL AMENITIES AND AN AFFORDABLE RATE FOR NEURO PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS WHILE VISITING THE MAYO CLINIC. WE BEGAN A FIRST NIGHT FREE PROGRAM ON MARCH 1, 2023 AND WERE ABLE TO SERVE 159 GUESTS IN 2023.
A PANCAKE FUNDRAISER WAS HELD IN FEB. 2023 WITH NET INCOME OF $3,687. IT WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE AWARENESS OF OUR MISSION AND TO ELICIT DONATIONS TOWARD THAT MISSION. APPROXIMATELY 200 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
