OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES: THESE ADDITIONAL PROGRAM EXPENSES ARE SPENT FOR THE CHILDREN SUPPORT. FEES FOR HEALTH CARE FOR ACFAS CHILDREN, THEIR SPORT FEES, CLOTHING AND PERSONAL HYGIENE, TRANSPORTATION, ENTERTAINMENT, ETC.. SPENT THROUGOUT THE YEAR 2021 TOTALED $27,572. THESE FEES ARE FOR ACFAS CHILDREN AS WELL AS FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN ATTENDING ACFAS SCHOOL.
EDUCATION: THESE ARE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH ACFAS OLDER CHILDREN THAT ARE ENROLLED IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN BAMAKO, WHILE THE YOUNGER CHILDREN ATTEND ACFAS SCHOOL IN ZOROKORO. ACFA OPENED A NEW KINDERGARTEN CLASS IN 2021 AT ZOROKORO. THE CHILDREN ALSO BENEFIT FROM TUTORING SESSIONS AND OTHER EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN THE FORM OF ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS IN MATH, COMPUTER SCIENCE, CODING, FRENCH, ENGLISH, PHYSICAL TRAINING, DANCE CLASSES, ETC... FURTHER, ACFA PROVIDES THE CHILDREN WITH VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN TAILORING, BARBERSHOP, HAIR BRAIDING, MOTORBIKE MECHANICS, CARPENTRY, ETC. THESE PROGRAMS COUPLED WITH PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BASKETBALL, FENCING, AND TAEKWONDO CLASSES ALL CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHILDRENS MENTAL AND INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT.
CHILD CARE PROVIDERS EXPENSES: THESE ARE THE FEES PAID TO STAFF IN MALI WHO CARE FOR THE CHILDREN. THIS STAFF PREPARES FOOD AND FEEDS THE CHILDREN, THEY CLEAN THE ORPHANAGE AND THE SCHOOL. THEY PROVIDE SUPPORT IN GETTING THE CHILDREN TO AND FROM THEIR DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES: SCHOOL, SPORT EVENTS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, AND DOCTOR VISITS. THEY ALSO CLEAN THE CHILDRENS CLOTHES, AND ATTEND TO THEIR ALL AND EVERYDAY NEEDS. THERE ARE 21 CHILDREN CURRENTLY AT ACFAS TWO LOCATIONS AND THEY RANGE FROM AGE 4 TO 18.
