TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL FORUM THROUGH WHICH ALL MEMBERS OF THE INSURANCE LICENSING AND SECURITIES REGISTRATION INDUSTRIES CAN EXCHANGE INFORMATION, BEST PRACTICES AND IDEAS TO RESOLVE ISSUES COMMON TO THE INDUSTRY.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES: SILA CONTINUES TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS TO ITS MEMBERS: SILA LICENSING JOURNAL, MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY, SILA NEWSLETTERS, RESOURCE CENTER (DISCUSSION FORUM, REGULATORY UPDATES, SUBGROUP COMMITTEES, NON-DUES PAYING CHAPTER MEETINGS), AND AWARD RECOGNITIONS. SILA ADDED THE SILA DIGEST SERVICE AS A RESOURCE BENEFIT TO ITS MEMBERS, OFFERED UNDER A REVENUE SHARE ARRANGEMENT WITH THE CONTENT PROVIDERS. SILA CREATED AND INTRODUCED A NEW RESOURCE PUBLICATION IN 2013 CALLED THE SILA BEST PRACTICES HANDBOOK AVAILABLE TO ALL SILA MEMBERS WHICH PROVIDES INDUSTRY PRACTICES TO SPECIFIC LICENSING AND COMPLIANCE TOPICS.
