THE MISSION OF MENTOR ME IS TO SERVE AT-RISK SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND YOUTH, IN NEED OF POSITIVE ROLE MODELS; TO HELP THEM GROW INTO HEALTHY AND PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY AND COMMUNITY.

ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING PROGRAM: SERVED 81 CHILDREN AGES 6-17. 81 VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 2,657 OF SERVICE HOURS. 85% OF MATCHES REACHED A ONE YEAR MILESTONE. 90% OF MENTEES REPORT BETTER SOCIAL AND PEER INTERACTIONS. 75% IMPROVED WITH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS. 82% ARE MORE SELF-CONFIDENT.MENTORING AFTER SCHOOL (MAS): 121 CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN MAS. MAS PROVIDED 2,884 STUDENTS MENTORING HOURS. 112 VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 2,941 SERVICE HOURS. 95% HAVE ADVANCED BY ONE READING GRADE LEVEL. 98% PASSED THEIR GRADE. 100% OF FORSYTH COUNTY TEACHERS REPORT BENEFITS FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM.CONNECT CLUBS: 2,233 MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN CLUB PROGRAMMING. 24 VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED 338 HOURS OF STUDENT CONNECTIONS AND SUPPORT. FORSYTH COUNTY SCHOOL COUNSELOR FEEDBACK: CONNECT CLUBS PROVIDE A SAFE AND NURTURING SPACE FOR OUR STUDENTS. CLUBS PROVIDE INVALUABLE ASSISTANCE IN ENSURING THAT ALL STUDENTS HAVE A POSITIVE, MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH A CARING ROLE MODEL. CONNECT CLUBS PROVIDED ESSENTIAL RESOURCES AND CURRICULUM THAT SUPPORT STUDENTS SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING.
