BERNARD, OHIO IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE VILLAGE'S RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES. THE CIC RECEIVES THE MAJORITY OF ITS FUNDING FROM THE VILLAGE, STATE AND FEDERAL GRANTS, THE PROCEEDS OF THE PROPERTY SALES, AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES (RENTAL INCOME). THE CIC HAS NO EMPLOYEES.
